Raiders of the Lost Digital Mountain of Money

Hindsight is a useful tool for assessing blame for all kinds of different things, especially mistakes. Have you ever wondered what actually caused the economic slide in the United States? This mock trial will answer all of your questions and a few you forgot to ask. The Law Firm of Budow and Noble returns to Capital I Day for an encore performance, this time focusing on credit default swaps and certificates of insurance issues. You will learn about structured investment vehicles and mortgage bundles and where your money went when it disappeared. You may come to find out how a large insurer wrote $3 trillion in derivatives with zero dollars reserved against future claims. And, last, but not least, see first hand how our intrepid internationally renowned insurance agent, Ara N. Omitian, handled that thorny certificate problem of non-ACORD certificate forms for exotic requests. This course is being filed for 3 CE credits, property and casualty only.
